Percy Jackson and the Olympians is gearing up for its third season on Disney+, with a brand-new official trailer and an immersive fan experience taking over New York City’s Empire State Building ahead of the show’s return on Friday, November 20, 2026. The latest trailer sets up Percy’s dangerous mission to rescue Annabeth, while Disney’s newly announced ‘Olympus Awaits’ attraction will bring the world of the Greek gods to life for visitors later this month.
The two announcements arrive as Disney prepares to adapt Rick Riordan‘s third novel, The Titan’s Curse, for the first time on screen. The new season launches with two episodes on November 20, followed by two episodes each week on Disney+ in the UK and on Disney+ and Hulu in the US.
What Happens In The New ‘Percy Jackson’ Season 3 Trailer?
Released by Disney+ on November 2, the official trailer previews the escalating conflict with Kronos and the disappearance of Annabeth Chase. With Annabeth captured by Kronos’ forces, Percy must embark on a rescue mission that involves freeing a captive goddess and confronting a prophecy that threatens Olympus itself. Grover joins him on the quest, alongside unlikely allies.
Walker Scobell returns as Percy Jackson, alongside Leah Sava’ Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. The cast also includes Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos. Disney has confirmed that the third season draws from The Titan’s Curse, marking a new chapter in the adaptation of Riordan’s novels.
What Is The ‘Olympus Awaits’ Empire State Building Experience?

To celebrate the new season, Disney is transforming part of the Empire State Building into Mount Olympus for a limited-time attraction called ‘Olympus Awaits’. Running from November 16 to December 4, 2026, the experience invites visitors to journey to a fictional ‘600th floor’ and enter a throne room featuring towering seats inspired by the Greek gods. The installation will also include hidden references to the series, interactive elements and photo opportunities.
The immersive attraction is included with paid Empire State Building Observatory admission, rather than being a separate free experience. Visitors who do not purchase an Observatory ticket can still enjoy a free ‘Hand of Talos’ photo installation in the ground-floor ticketing office. Select guests may receive themed keepsakes, while exclusive Percy Jackson merchandise will be available in the building’s gift shop.
On Friday, November 20, the Empire State Building will also stage ‘The Glow from Olympus’, a special exterior lighting display inspired by the mythical home of the gods. Disney is additionally partnering with food and drink businesses across the US for ‘Offerings from Olympus’, a series of limited-time blue-themed treats and promotional offers during premiere week.
Further details about the attraction are available in Disney’s official announcement. The New York installation has not been announced for the UK.
