Fans get their first glimpse of Ironheart, Marvel Television’s newest series, with the release of a teaser trailer and poster. Launching exclusively on Disney+ on June 25, 2025, the show stars Dominique Thorne (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) as Riri Williams—a young genius inventor whose custom-built iron suits rival the best in the MCU.
Riri first appeared in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, directed by Ryan Coogler, and now returns in her own solo series that explores her unique origin and mission to carve her own legacy. “Ironheart is such a great character in publishing,” said Coogler. “In 2016, Brian Michael Bendis created a character who would be a successor of sorts to the Iron Man legacy… eventually, the character gets her own identity as Ironheart.”
Set after the events of Wakanda Forever, the series brings Riri home to Chicago—where technology clashes with mysticism as she faces off with Parker Robbins, aka The Hood (played by Anthony Ramos).

When is ‘Ironheart’ Releasing on Disney+?
Marvel’s Ironheart will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on June 25, 2025 with the first three episodes. The six-episode series will follow Riri Williams’ journey post-Wakanda Forever, as she builds a new life, develops advanced tech, and faces new enemies in her hometown.
‘Ironheart’ Cast and Crew
The cast includes Dominique Thorne (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) as Riri Williams, Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) as Parker Robbins / The Hood, Lyric Ross (This Is Us), Alden Ehrenreich (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Regan Aliyah (XO, Kitty), Manny Montana (Good Girls), Matthew Elam (Swagger), and Anji White (The Chi).
The series is written by Chinaka Hodge (Snowpiercer) and directed by Sam Bailey (Dear White People) and Angela Barnes (Blindspotting). Executive producers include Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian (Judas and the Black Messiah), and Zinzi Coogler (Space Jam: A New Legacy). The music is composed by Dara Taylor (The Invitation), and the series is produced in association with Proximity Media.
