Disney fans, get ready – Lilo & Stitch: Crate of Mischief is landing in London for one weekend only, transforming Battersea Power Station into a playground of chaos and charm from Friday, 16th to Sunday, 18th May 2025. This free immersive experience invites visitors into the world of everyone’s favourite blue alien, just days before the brand-new Lilo & Stitch film hits UK cinemas on May 21.

What Activities Are There?

Create Your Ohana Postcard: Stitch wants to send a postcard back to Hawai’i, but he needs your help designing it. Guests use magnetic props and playful backdrops to build their postcard scene, ready to pose for a photo.

The Mischief Meter: Are you mischievous enough to tempt Stitch to take a photograph with you? Use the interactive Stitch Cam and fill the Mischief Meter to the max by trying to make Stitch laugh. If you succeed, Stitch may even join you for a virtual selfie, which will be printed for you to take away.

Control Room: Explore the latest products from Smyths, Amazon, Next and The Disney Store and more with QR codes to allow fans to shop their favourite products on the spot. There will be opportunities to win special product prizes and bundles for lucky guests throughout the day.

The full experience should take visitors around 10–15 minutes. Afterwards, guests can treat themselves to cupcakes from Lola’s, try a free game of the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game and more.

The pop-up event is perfectly timed to build excitement for the long-awaited new Lilo & Stitch film, which is set to release in UK cinemas on May 21 2025. While full plot details are still under wraps, the film promises a fresh take on the beloved 2002 original, blending heart, humour, and chaos in classic Stitch fashion.

Whether you grew up with the original or you’re introducing the characters to a new generation, this reboot is shaping up to be a major cinematic moment. If the event is anything to go by, expect a celebration of family, identity, and mischief with a modern Disney twist.

Angela Affinita, Director of Brand Marketing, Disney Consumer Products, EMEA, said: “Lilo & Stitch is a story that’s captured hearts for over two decades, blending mischief, friendship and ‘Ohana. We have seen a huge surge in popularity for our Stitch consumer products, which has led to everything from plush, t-shirts, onesies, accessories, homeware, games, puzzles and more.  With the live-action reimagining of the 2002 film, we’re expecting Stitch-mania! The Crate of Mischief brings Stitch’s playful energy to life for fans in a way that’s bold, interactive, and right in the heart of London. Fans can also experience more Stitch fun in retailers across the UK.”
