Where To Stream ‘Anora’

The winner of the Palme d’Or at last year’s Cannes Film Festival, Anora stands strong with nominations in six categories, including Directing (Sean Baker), Best Actress, and Film Editing. But where can you watch the Mikey Madison-led project?
Anora is currently available to buy digitally in the US and UK, for $9.99 and £11.99, respectively. Due to a long-term output deal, Anora will stream exclusively on Hulu at a later unconfirmed date. Anora is expected to debut on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK later in 2025 on an unconfirmed date, which we don’t expect to be till at least August 2025 at the earliest.
Where To Stream ‘The Brutalist’

A sweeping architectural epic by former Thunderbirds star Brady Corbet, The Brutalist has left a significant mark with eight nominations, including Best Directing and Cinematography. Adrien Brody leads the cast in a performance that’s earned him a Best Actor nod, while the film’s production design and original score cement its critical acclaim.
The Brutalist is still currently in theaters, however, it will eventually be available on Max, though the release date has not yet been announced. Similarly, expect to see The Brutalist towards the end of the year on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK.
Where To Stream ‘A Complete Unknown’

James Mangold’s A Complete Unknown has captured attention with five nominations at this year’s Academy Awards, including Directing, Actor in a Leading Role (Timothée Chalamet), and Costume Design. The Bob Dylan biopic is still playing in theaters, though we wouldn’t be surprised if the Mouse House prioritises getting their awards favourite onto Disney+ and Hulu before March 2, cutting the usual 90 day window short.
If they don’t, then we expect A Complete Unknown to premiere on Disney+/Hulu on March 26.
Where To Stream ‘Conclave’

Edward Berger’s Conclave earned 8 Academy Award nominations on Thursday including Best Picture, Best Actor (Ralph Fiennes), as well as Isabella Rossellini entering the race for Best Supporting Actress. The film is currently available to buy on digital, and is also now streaming on Peacock stateside.
Where To Stream ‘Dune: Part Two’

Lisan-al-gaib! Nominated for 5 Academy Awards, Dune: Part Two is hoping to build on the first film’s acclaim of 6 Academy Awards, having been nominated for 10. Dune: Part Two is currently streaming on Max in the US, and is also now available on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK.
Where To Stream ‘Emilia Pérez’

Emilia Pérez took the world by storm when it received a whopping thirteen nominations on Thursday morning, including nods for Karla Sofía Gascón in Lead Actress and Zoe Saldaña in Supporting Actress. In a surprise, both original songs, “El Mal” and “Mi Camino,” also earned nominations.
Emilia Pérez is now streaming on Netflix.
Where To Stream ‘I’m Still Here’

I’m Still Here tells the story of a mother, Eunice Paiva (Fernanda Torres) begins a lonely battle to learn the truth behind the disappearance of her husband, former PTB deputy Rubens Paiva (Selton Mello), while trying to keep her family together. The film is up for 3 Academy Awards, including Best Actress for Torres’ performance in the film.
As the film is a Sony release in the US, we anticipate it will be on Netflix at a later, unconfirmed date, though you can still see it in theaters at the minute. I’m Still Here is set to release in UK and Ireland cinemas on February 7.
Where To Stream ‘Nickel Boys’

With just 2 nominations at this year’s Oscars, Nickel Boys is the lowest nominated film in the running for Best Picture, with the film also hoping to win the awards for Best Adapted Screenplay. The film’s plot follows Elwood Curtis (Ethan Herisse), a young man whose college aspirations are destroyed when he is sentenced to Nickel Academy, a harsh reformatory in the Jim Crow South. Despite the brutality of his surroundings, Elwood holds on to his optimistic outlook and forms a bond with Turner (Brandon Wilson), another Black teen who offers him essential survival advice.
Nickel Boys is currently not available to stream, though as the film is an Amazon MGM Studios production, the film will eventually be available to stream on Prime Video.
Where To Stream ‘The Substance’

The Substance and Elisabeth Sparkle will both be honoured at the 2025 Academy Awards with the film up for nominations, including a Best Actress nod for Demi Moore. Unfortunately, the Academy hasn’t respected the balance, with only one half of the unformiddable duo being recognised, and leading many to claim Margaret Qualley has been snubbed.
The Substance is currently available to purchase digitally, or you can stream it on Mubi.
Where To Stream ‘Wicked’

The musical event of 2024, Wicked will be celebrated at the Oscars with the film defying expectations and earning ten nominations, including nods for both Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the Lead and Supporting Actress categories, respectively. The film has also been celebrated for its Production Design, Original Score, Editing, as well as Visual Effects.
Wicked is currently available to buy on digital and is expected to release on Peacock at somepoint over the next few months. If Universal repeats the 120 day window it kept for Twisters last year, then we could see Wicked debut on the streaming service as early as March 29, it will then release later this year on Sky Cinema and NOW in the UK.
