Disney+ has released the official trailer for The Real Rooneys, offering a new look inside the lives of Wayne Rooney, Coleen Rooney and their family ahead of the documentary series’ September premiere.
The 10-episode Hulu Original series from the UK will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on September 24. Episodes 1–8 will be available at launch, followed by two special episodes on October 1.
The new trailer follows the first teaser released by Disney+ in August, with the latest footage offering a broader look at the family as they navigate major changes at home and in their careers.
What Does ‘The Real Rooneys’ Official Trailer Reveal?
The Real Rooneys follows the family through what Disney describes as a pivotal year in their lives. Wayne has stepped away from football management and swaps the touchline for school runs, while Coleen takes on new career opportunities, including designing her own Primark range.
The documentary also follows Wayne and Coleen as they raise their four sons, with eldest son Kai pursuing his own ambitions in football. The cameras travel with the family from their home in Cheshire to Barbados, Disneyland Paris and the Alps.
The official trailer promises personal revelations, family celebrations and career-defining moments alongside the everyday pressures of life in one of Britain’s most recognisable families.
When Is ‘The Real Rooneys’ Coming To Disney+?
The first eight episodes of The Real Rooneys will stream exclusively on Disney+ in the UK from September 24. Two additional special episodes will follow on October 1, completing the 10-episode series.
The series is executive produced by Julian Bird, Paul Stretford and Ashley Smith for Lorton Entertainment, alongside Danny Horan and Tanya Winston for Blast Films. Martin Webb serves as series director, with Nonuk Walter as showrunner.
