Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is the fourth MCU Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker, following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The film follows Peter as he anonymously protects New York City as Spider-Man after Doctor Strange’s spell caused the world to forget that Peter Parker exists. As Peter investigates a powerful new threat, his superpowers begin to undergo a surprising and potentially dangerous evolution.
The cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando and Mark Ruffalo.
When Will ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Release On Netflix?
As a Sony Pictures release, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to stream on Netflix first in the US after its theatrical and home entertainment windows.
Sony previously signed a deal with Netflix for its film slate, giving Netflix the first pay-TV streaming window for Sony theatrical releases. That means Spider-Man: Brand New Day should eventually arrive on Netflix before later moving to Disney platforms during a later window.
Sony has not officially confirmed a Netflix release date yet. However, major Sony films usually arrive on Netflix several months after their cinema release, following their digital and physical home media runs. A Netflix release in early-to-mid 2027 feels likely.
Will ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Be On Disney+?
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to arrive on Disney+ eventually, but not as its first streaming home.
Although the film is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and produced by Marvel Studios, it is still distributed by Sony Pictures. Because of Sony’s existing streaming arrangements, Netflix is expected to receive the first streaming window before Disney gets the later pay-two window in the US.
When Will ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Be Streaming In The UK?
A UK streaming date has not been confirmed yet, but Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to arrive on Sky Cinema and NOW first.
Based on previous release patterns, Spider-Man: Brand New Day could arrive on Sky Cinema and NOW sometime in 2027, several months after its theatrical and digital windows.
Will ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Be Available To Rent Or Buy Digitally First?
Before arriving on Netflix or Disney+, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will almost certainly become available to rent or purchase digitally through platforms such as Apple TV, Prime Video and Google Play.
