HBO Max has revealed its July 2026 highlights for HBO Max UK and Ireland, with new comedy, documentary, film and sports programming arriving across the month.
‘Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story’

Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story explores the life and legacy of Robin Byrd, the New York City public access host who became a cult figure through her late-night call-in series, The Robin Byrd Show.
Running from 1977 to 1998, Byrd’s series combined performances, interviews with adult entertainers and experimental artists, and frank conversations around sex, free speech and queer visibility. The documentary reflects on her role as a sex-positive broadcaster, her advocacy during the AIDS epidemic, and the national censorship battle that cemented her place as a First Amendment advocate.
The HBO Original documentary is directed and produced by Jyllian Gunther and Stephanie Schwam.
Releasing on HBO Max UK on July 1.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy follows a journalist whose young daughter disappears into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she suddenly returns, but what should be a joyful reunion quickly turns into a living nightmare.
The Warner Bros. Pictures horror film is written and directed by Lee Cronin, with James Wan, Jason Blum and John Keville producing.
