Spring is here, the nights are getting lighter, and Sky is lining up a packed month of brand-new TV and movie premieres. From the long-awaited UK debut of a legendary live sketch show to returning favourites, buzzy US dramas, stand-up specials, documentaries, and major Sky Cinema releases, March has something for every mood.
Here’s what to watch on Sky and NOW this March.
‘Saturday Night Live UK’

Broadcast live each week, this brand new UK edition of the long-running US sketch comedy variety show brings the high-wire, anything-can-happen energy that makes SNL a cultural force, now reimagined through a distinctly British lens. A new guest host will take the helm each week, putting their distinctive stamp on the SNL formula alongside a chart-topping musical guest.
Written, rehearsed and performed in the week of each show, every episode is staged in front of a live studio audience and features an opening monologue, topical sketches, live music, and a UK take on SNL’s iconic news satire, Weekend Update.
‘Ted’ Season 2

It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and doesn’t like anyone challenging him, particularly his liberal-minded niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.
‘DTF St. Louis’

A limited series about a love triangle between three adults experiencing middle-age malaise that leads to one of them ending up dead. Starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini and Richard Jenkins.
‘Rooster’

A comedy set on a college campus centring on an author’s (Steve Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter (Charly Clive).
‘The Comeback’ Season 3

20 years after the first season debuted in 2005, and 10 years after season two, Valerie Cherish has found her way back to the current television landscape. The Comeback, created by Michael Patrick King (And Just Like That…) and Lisa Kudrow, returns for a third and final season.
‘Billy Idol Should Be Dead’

Billy Idol Should Be Dead is an intimate, no-holds-barred portrait of the legendary punk musician, told by those who know him best, including Idol himself. Directed by Grammy Award-winner Jonas Åkerlund, the film weaves never-before-seen archival footage with raw, revealing interviews – featuring Idol, his bandmates, family and fellow music artists such as Miley Cyrus and Green Day lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong.
‘Ligas’

Charming, brilliant, but also cynical, unscrupulous, and allergic to rules. Lorenzo Ligas is a criminal lawyer with undisputed talent and a… turbulent private life. Brilliant yet controversial, Ligas fights Milan’s most desperate cases alongside his idealistic intern Marta, seeking justice while confronting his own shortcomings. A Sky Italia Original starting Luca Argentero (Eat, Pray, Love).
‘Rob Beckett: Giraffe’

Rob Beckett is back and having an absolute Giraffe in his brand-new stand-up filmed at the London Palladium at the end of his global tour, which has seen him perform from his hometown of Bromley to Down Under in Brisbane since it started in November 2024. And now, Bobby Beckles will be bringing the laughs to Sky before packing it in and putting his feet up. What else is there to do? Sit next to your partner on the sofa scrolling TikTok in silence again? You did that the last three nights. See you there!
‘Nobody 2’

Workaholic assassin Hutch Mansell takes his family on a much-needed vacation to the small tourist town of Plummerville. However, he soon finds himself in the crosshairs of a corrupt theme-park operator, a shady sheriff, and a bloodthirsty crime boss.
‘Materialists’

A young, ambitious New York City matchmaker finds herself torn between the perfect match and her imperfect ex. Romantic drama from Celine Song (Past Lives), starring Dakota Johnson, Chris Evans and Pedro Pascal.
‘Ice Fall’

A young Native American game warden captures a notorious poacher only to learn that the poacher is aware of the location of a plane carrying millions of dollars that has crashed in a frozen lake. Action thriller starring Joel Kinnamen (For All Mankind), Cara Jade Myers, (Flowers of the Killing Moon), and the late Graham Greene (Dances with Wolves).
‘Pets on a Train’

When a crew of animal bandits embark on a routine swindle, they find themselves caught up in a high-tech train heist. It’s up to Falcon, a petty thief raccoon, and Rex, a righteous police-dog, to save the animals aboard this high-speed runway train.
‘Sketch’

When a young girl’s sketchbook falls into a strange pond, her drawings come to life – unpredictable, chaotic, and dangerously real. As the town unravels, she and her brother must track down the creatures before they leave permanent damage. Their father, racing to find them through the fallout, must navigate a town in crisis to reunite his family and stop the disaster they never meant to unleash.
‘On Swift Horses’

Muriel (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and her husband Lee (Will Poulter) are beginning a bright new life in California when he returns from the Korean War. But their newfound stability is upended by the arrival of Lee’s charismatic brother, Julius (Jacob Elordi), a wayward gambler with a secret past. A dangerous love triangle quickly forms. When Julius takes off in search of the young card cheat he’s fallen for, Muriel’s longing for something more propels her into a secret life of her own, gambling on racehorses and exploring a love she never dreamed possible.
‘Man Finds Tape’

After receiving a cryptic call, documentarian Lynn Page returns to her small Texas hometown to investigate haunting footage of events no one can remember taking place. But her brother Lucas’ controversial past with a viral web series called ‘Man Finds Tape’ forces Lynn to question if he, or anyone in their town, can be trusted. And the arrival of a stranger with chaotic intentions forces Lynn to confront her family’s involvement with the deadly monster preying on Larkin, TX.
