Thousands of fans packed into Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con as Disney+ dropped a wave of news for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The cast and creators unveiled a brand new teaser, revealed the Season 2 premiere date, and teased what’s to come in Season 3.
‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 2 Arrives This December
In a special video message, creator and executive producer Rick Riordan confirmed that Season 2 will premiere on December 10 2025, exclusively on Disney+. The teaser gave fans their first look at Tyson, Percy’s cyclops half-brother, as the story dives into The Sea of Monsters, the second book in the bestselling series.
The panel was hosted by Timothy Simons (who plays Tantalus), and featured stars Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Dior Goodjohn, and Daniel Diemer, along with executive producers Jonathan E. Steinberg, Dan Shotz, and Craig Silverstein.
This season follows Percy and friends as they set sail to retrieve the Golden Fleece, battling monsters and myth to save Camp Half-Blood from destruction.
‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3 Casts Nico and Bianca di Angelo
Riordan also revealed that Levi Chrisopulos has been cast as Nico di Angelo, with Olive Abercrombie playing his sister Bianca, both the children of the God Hades. Nico will be a series regular, with Bianca appearing in a recurring role. Production on Season 3 begins soon.
For Percy Jackson fans currently in San Diego, they can also step into The Percy Jackson Experience, an immersive activation that will be open to the public directly outside the San Diego Convention Center. The experience takes fans beyond the mist and on a quest into the mythological world of the series.
