Amazon MGM Studios confirms the worldwide date for the adaptation, which is directed by Michael Showalter.
The film follows struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, played by Johnson, who is hired to complete a bestselling author’s book series. While staying at the Crawford family home, she discovers a disturbing manuscript connected to Verity Crawford, played by Hathaway, and Verity’s husband Jeremy, played by Hartnett.
Will ‘Verity’ Stream On Prime Video?
Yes, Verity is expected to stream on Prime Video after its cinema release, although Amazon has not announced the streaming date.
Amazon MGM has previously confirmed that its theatrical films eventually become available on Prime Video following their cinema runs. That includes recent releases such as Project Hail Mary, which moved to Prime Video worldwide after its theatrical window.

When Could ‘Verity’ Stream On Prime Video In The UK?
There is currently no confirmed UK streaming date for Verity.
Prime Video operates directly in the UK, so the film is expected to arrive on the service here once Amazon MGM’s theatrical and home-entertainment windows have finished.
Recent Amazon MGM films have used different windows. Mercy opened in cinemas on January 23, 2026 and was streaming on Prime Video by March 23, while Project Hail Mary opened on March 20 and arrived on Prime Video worldwide on July 3.
Popped’s current prediction is that Verity could arrive on Prime Video in the UK on or around December 25, 2026. That would give the film an approximately 12-week theatrical and home-entertainment window.
This is only a prediction. A stronger-than-expected cinema run could keep the film away from subscription streaming for longer, while Amazon could also choose an earlier date.
When Could ‘Verity’ Stream On Prime Video In The US?
The US situation is expected to be similar. Amazon MGM has not announced a Prime Video streaming date, but the service is the expected eventual subscription home.
Unless Amazon announces different regional timing, we would currently expect the film to launch on Prime Video in the US at around the same time as the UK.
Our best estimate therefore remains late December 2026, with December 25 serving as Popped’s current predicted date.
Will ‘Verity’ Be Available To Rent Or Buy First?
Verity is likely to become available to buy or rent digitally before it is included with a Prime membership.
Amazon has not announced a digital release date, but the Prime Video Store can offer films for rental and purchase separately from the Prime subscription catalogue. Other digital retailers may also carry the film when its premium home-entertainment window begins.
That means viewers who do not want to wait for the subscription release may get an earlier opportunity to watch Verity at home.
