Paramount+ has confirmed that Dexter: Resurrection will return for Season 2 on October 30, 2026, with the first teaser for the new season also released today.
The new episodes arrive two decades after Dexter Morgan first appeared on screen, with Michael C. Hall once again leading the series as the serial killer attempting to live by his infamous Code.
When Does ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 Premiere?
Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 will premiere on Friday, October 30 on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan, landing just in time for Halloween and the wider Dexter franchise’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
The first season of Dexter: Resurrection, alongside Dexter: Original Sin, is currently available to stream with the Paramount+ Premium Plan. Dexter: New Blood and the original Dexter series are available across all Paramount+ plans.
What Is ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 About?
Season 2 will see Dexter caught between two killers in New York. One has decades of notoriety and a long history of murders behind them, while the other is described as a fresh young face terrorising the city in ways Dexter has never encountered before.
At the same time, Dexter will face a very different kind of threat as he struggles with a mid-life crisis. His son Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues his own pursuit of justice as the father-and-son story moves into what Paramount describes as their darkest chapter yet.
Who Is In The ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2 Cast?
Hall and Alcott are joined by returning cast members Uma Thurman, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Kadia Saraf, Dominic Fumusa, Desmond Harrington and James Remar.
Season 2 also adds several major names as series regulars. Dan Stevens, Bokeem Woodbine, Nona Parker Johnson and Brian Cox will all join the cast.
Krysten Ritter will return in a guest-starring role, while Gabriel Luna has also joined the new season as a guest star.

Who Is Making ‘Dexter: Resurrection’ Season 2?
Clyde Phillips returns as showrunner and executive producer for the second season. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns also serve as executive producers.
Additional executive producers include John Goldwyn, Sara Colleton, Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean and Katrina Mathewson. The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios.
