DC Studios’ Supergirl is now streaming exclusively on HBO Max in the UK and Ireland.
The Milly Alcock-led DC Universe film arrived on the streaming service on September 10, 2026, following its theatrical run earlier this year.
An American Sign Language version of the film is also available on HBO Max, performed by Catalene Sacchetti and directed by Jonaz McMillan.

Yes. Supergirl is now available to stream on HBO Max in the UK and Ireland from September 10.
Warner Bros. Discovery confirmed the film would make its global streaming debut exclusively on HBO Max on the same day.
The film will also air on HBO in the United States on September 12 at 8pm ET.
What Is ‘Supergirl’ About?
Supergirl follows Kara Zor-El, cousin of Superman’s Kal-El, as the interplanetary nomad embarks on an adventure of her own.
Described as headstrong, worldly-wise and frequently reckless, Kara is forced to work alongside an unlikely companion when a dangerous adversary strikes close to home.
Their journey takes them across the cosmos as Kara struggles with the difference between vengeance and justice while attempting to save the life of her best friend, Krypto.
The film ultimately explores a considerably different form of heroism from that associated with Superman, with Kara discovering that doing the right thing does not always mean being nice.

David Corenswet also appears as Superman, while Jason Momoa features as Lobo.
