HBO has released the trailer for Youth, a new original comedy series created by and starring Sharon Horgan, ahead of its premiere on September 21.
The eight-episode series will debut with its first two episodes exclusively on HBO Max, with new episodes then arriving weekly on Mondays through to the season finale on November 2.
What Is HBO’s ‘Youth’ About?
Youth follows Alex, a 50-year-old divorcee searching for sex and love while simultaneously juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown-up son.
Horgan stars as Alex alongside Rupert Friend as Patrick, Sharlene Whyte as Sam, Aran Murphy as Ruari and Robbie Gee as Frank.

Following the two-episode premiere, new episodes from the eight-part season will debut weekly every Monday, culminating with the finale on November 2.
Who Is Behind ‘Youth’?
Youth is produced by Merman, the production company behind series including Amandaland, Bad Sisters and Vladimir.
Sharon Horgan stars in, writes and executive produces the series. Faye Dorn serves as an executive producer for Merman alongside Jim Kleverweis and Dawn Shadforth, who also directs.
