With The End of Oak Street arriving in cinemas this week, viewers are already wondering when the new sci-fi survival film will make its way to streaming.

Written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, the film stars Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor as Denise and Greg Platt, alongside Maisy Stella and Christian Convery as their children Audrey and Brian.
The film is produced by Bad Robot and Jackson Pictures, with J. J. Abrams among its producers. Michael Giacchino composed the film’s score.
When will ‘The End of Oak Street’ release on HBO Max?
As a Warner Bros. Pictures release, The End of Oak Street is expected to stream on HBO Max following its theatrical run.
Recent Warner Bros. films have arrived on the service simultaneously in the US and UK. The Bride! began streaming on May 22, while They Will Kill You followed on June 12. The Mummy arrived on July 3, with Mortal Kombat II joining HBO Max on July 24.
These releases have typically reached HBO Max around two to three months after their theatrical debuts.
If The End of Oak Street follows a similar release strategy after opening in cinemas on August 14, the film could begin streaming on HBO Max sometime between October and November 2026 in both the US and UK.
