The Big Bang Theory is officially expanding once again, with HBO Max confirming that new comedy series Stuart Fails To Save The Universe will debut on July 24 in the UK & Ireland.
The streamer released the official teaser for the upcoming Max Original series during the Warner Bros. Discovery Upfront presentation in New York, alongside confirmation that the ten-episode season will launch with new episodes arriving weekly on Fridays.
The series follows comic book store owner Stuart Bloom, played by Kevin Sussman, after he accidentally triggers a multiverse Armageddon by breaking a device created by Sheldon and Leonard. According to the official logline, Stuart is then forced to restore reality alongside his girlfriend Denise, geologist Bert and physicist Barry Kripke.
As expected, things quickly spiral out of control.

Returning To The World of ‘The Big Bang Theory’

HBO Max also released new teaser artwork and first look images alongside the announcement.
Alongside Kevin Sussman, the series stars Lauren Lapkus as Denise, Brian Posehn as Bert and John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke. The show will also feature alternate universe versions of familiar characters from The Big Bang Theory universe.
The comedy series comes from Chuck Lorre Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with Chuck Lorre, Zak Penn and Bill Prady serving as creators, writers and executive producers.
