During Netflix’s 2025 TUDUM global fan event, fans were finally treated to a first look at Stranger Things Season 5 — the long-awaited final chapter of the Duffer Brothers’ sci-fi juggernaut. Alongside the reveal of the release date, a tense teaser dropped online, promising a climactic farewell to Hawkins, the Upside Down, and the beloved group of heroes at the centre of it all.
First Look Hints at a Dark Final Chapter

A number of returning cast members include: Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Jim Hopper, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair and Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna. Terminator star Linda Hamilton is also joining the cast in a mysterious role.
When Does ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Come Out?

Netflix has confirmed that Stranger Things Season 5 will premiere over the course of three release dates:
- Volume 1: November 26, 5pm PT
- Volume 2: Christmas, 5pm PT
- The Finale: New Year’s Eve, 5pm PT*
