Rihanna sings "Friend of Mine" for the 2025 'Smurfs' movie

Rihanna is officially back on the soundtrack scene. The global icon has released her brand-new single “Friend of Mine”, the latest track from the upcoming Smurfs movie soundtrack, available now via Roc Nation Distribution.

The track comes ahead of the full Smurfs soundtrack, which drops on June 13 and is now available to pre-order and pre-save. Rihanna, who also stars as Smurfette in the animated reboot, lends her vocals both to the film and to this emotional, feel-good anthem—marking another high moment for the pop icon.

Adding even more star power, a brand-new track by Tyla is also confirmed to feature on the album.
