Prime Video has officially renewed Last One Laughing UK for a second season, bringing back the laugh-or-you’re-out format that became a viral hit with British audiences. Hosted once again by Jimmy Carr, the unscripted comedy competition will return in 2026, with filming set to take place later this year.
Based on the Japanese original Documental, Last One Laughing challenges ten comedians to enter a room and try to make each other laugh—without laughing themselves. The last comic standing wins bragging rights and the satisfaction of surviving one of comedy’s most absurd pressure cookers.
